You can donate online through the School of Law shopping cart.

While the Texas International Law Journal is published under the umbrella of the University of Texas School of Law Publications Department, the school does not guarantee financial support for the Journal. We publish four issues each year, host symposia with presenters from around the globe, and provide our members with social and professional networking opportunities—all of which is projected to cost $45,000 this year. Additionally, we hope to begin offering scholarships and other financial awards to our dedicated members. Maintaining the Journal poses unique financial challenges, and your contribution will go a long way towards ensuring our success.

Your donation will directly support the top-tier scholarship published in each issue of the Journal. TILJ has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, by high courts all over the world, in nearly every other major law journal in the country, and in emerging media outlets such as the Huffington Post.

Your donation helps bring together a diverse group of students who—individually and collectively—make a direct impact on the Journal, the School of Law, and their communities. Not only do our members publish the TILJ, but they also have leadership roles in other journals, including the Texas Journal of Oil and Gas Law, The Environmental Law Journal, and The Texas Review of Law and Politics. We are also members and leaders of other on-campus organizations including the American Constitution Society, the Federalist Society, the Chicano and Hispanic Law Students’ Association, the Women’s Law Caucus, Assault and Flattery, the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society, the Public Interest Law Association, the Domestic Violence Survivor Support Network, and many others. Our members also volunteer for legal service and community groups, including Street Law, the Austin Bar Association, the ACLU, and the Austin Humane Society.

Contributions to the Journal are tax-deductible, and the Law School will provide a receipt with the applicable tax codes. All contributions will be noted in the Dean’s Townes Hall Notes alumni magazine, in the Texas International Law Journal, and on the Donors section of the TILJ home page.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please visit http://www.matchinggifts.com/utexas/ and follow the easy instructions. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to the Journal may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

All donations go toward the operating costs of the Journal.
